Step 1: Sketch Concepts

Before developing a new collection, I get all of my ideas out by sketching different silhouettes, styles, fits, and details that feel cohesive to the collection & to the brand.

Step 2: Finalize Designs & Logos

I then finalize which pieces make sense, will perform well based on past sales and what is trending. Adding color, detail and logos that match the aesthetic better tell the story of each piece and bring the collection together as a whole.

Step 3: Tech Pack Creation

Where I go into depth for each item, breaking down everything from size, fit, exact pantone colors, fabrics used, inspiration/reference images, order quantities/breakdowns, and exact measurements for pattern makers and size grading- All to give to the manufacturers that make the garments. 

Step 4: Sampling & Bulk Ordering

Once final communications and negotiations are settled with manufacturers, I then get samples. After any adjustments needed, bulk orders are placed and production is in full swing.
